Will's 1st birthday

I was very fortunate to be able to take the pictures for little Will's 1st birthday party. What a fabulous theme it was! He had a radio flyer red wagon theme and they incorporated the red and aqua blue into everything. His mom did a great job and I am sure there were many long nights getting all the decorations ready.
Will looked super cute in his smocked birthday party long-all. Look at those sweet baby blue eyes.
Will's mom had a really cute idea to hang a picture from each month during his first year on the mantle. It turned out really cute and was a neat focal point in the room.
The birthday day had an outfit change and was ready for his birthday cake. I just loved the high chair that his family had found for the party. He dad painted it red to go with the theme.
What a sweet family! I really enjoyed being of part of their son's special birthday.

A Whooot of a Time!

On Saturday, February 4th I attended a sweet little girl's 1st birthday party. Back in September I took the photographs of her christening and I can not believe she is already 1. The owl theme decorations her mom selected were just adorable and I got some amazing shots of Libby in her super cute outfit.
I thought this picture was just precious of the birthday girl crying when her mom put her special party hat on. It reminded me of the song "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to..."

The cupcakes were adorable. I wish I could post more pictures of all the precious owl decorations displayed around their home.

Libby went in for the kill. Who needs hands?

I thought this was a super sweet moment to capture of Libby sharing her first sweet treat with her daddy.

After a quick outfit change the birthday girl was ready to open her presents. Libby was more intriqued by this bow off a presen than the gifts she actually received.
I had a great time at this sweet girl's first birthday party. It's hard to believe how fast she has grown.

Libby's Christening

Since I recently took the pictures for Libby's first birthday party, I thought I would go back and add the pictures from her christening to my blog. It's amazing to see how much she has changed since September.
One sweet thing I remember about Libby's christening gown was that her father actually wore it for his christening in the same church almost 30 years ago and that her great-grandmother had made it by  hand.
What a beautiful family picture.
After taking a quick nap while the guests ate lunch, Libby was a happy baby and ready to enjoy her party.
